A long day of driving, playing in the surf and sight seeing would make
just about anything taste good, but the burgers here are really
fantastic! My food was so well prepared, I even asked to meet the cook.
On this particular day he was one of the college students from the local
LDS (Mormon) college. Nice kid from St. George Utah, but obviously
pretty good with a spatula and a deep fryer as well.
Not a big fan of shrimp regardless of how it's prepared, but I now regret not having tried the "world famous" shrimp. I'd be willing to bet that it was tasty. Wish I'd have tried it.
There is a little bit of interesting history here. Some large, metal crusher wheels, and some other long forgotten production equipment from when the place was a sugar production mill, so be sure not to miss that stuff either as long as you are here.
